Bob Ritter, born on July 2, 1947, served in the United States Air Force for 5 years, 9 months, and 14 days.

Rank/ position: Sergeant.

Stationed/ deployed: Nebraska mainly. Vietnam and Thailand.

Bob mentioned there wasn't really anything that inspired him to join the military.

His role or job during his service was mainly supply.

When asked if he remembered his first day of service or boot camp and what it was like, He said he didn't like it in the beginning but then he got used to it after a while and after that it didn't really bother him anymore.

Bob served during the Vietnam War. During his time in the Air Force, he traveled outside of the U.S. to Vietnam and Thailand, and inside the U.S. he traveled to Nebraska.

He talked about how a lot of crazy things that happened and that there were also some personal challenges.

Bob mentioned being away from home was the most challenging part of his service.
